John Anthony Teases “The Therapy LP 2”?
John Anthony may have teased his next upcoming album — the sequel to The Therapy LP.
The latest Instagram post by John Anthony shows a picture of his receiving his second commemorative gold record plaque for his early 2022 album — Villaination!. The post shows off the 20 inch framed gold record plaque with the caption stating
“Your album. Your award. Thanks to everyone who made Villaination! what it is today. On to the next… ♾️”
John Anthony clearly states he is ready to move on to a new album. What stands out from the post, however, is the hashtags under the caption. John Anthony posts #TLP2, along with #Villaination and #VillainousRecords. TLP is the abbreviation for John Anthony’s 2019 debut album — The Therapy LP. The abbreviation was used many times back when the album was being promoted. The album featured 10-tracks and was the welcoming mat for John Anthony’s new development career under his own record label — Villainous Records. The Therapy LP deliver classics songs such as Time Will Heal, Abuser and My Brain. In 2020, The Therapy LP re-released as a Deluxe Version with 8 extra songs. The Deluxe Version was ultimately taking down from major streaming services. The original LP will reach its 3-year anniversary next Sunday.
This clearly obviously tease will now be the second cryptic message surrounding a possible sequel to the album. The first tease came just about a month ago when John Anthony posted a new 2022 photoshoot on his Instagram with the caption
“Can I take you back for a minute? ⏳”
This being a lyric quote from Time Will Heal, a hit song from The Therapy LP.
These teases leave the question… is John Anthony’s next album going to be The Therapy LP 2? We’ll just have to wait and see.
